Technical Specifications
Tires:
From controlled practice onwards, only tires provided and sold by the event organizer may be used. Unlimited quantity allowed. Prohibited: Tire softener, grinding. Tires must not leave the paddock and must be returned after the race.
Fuel:
Designated fuel brands exclusively permitted: MAXIMA, YS POWER FUEL. Specific nitro blend percentages apply per class (see class-specific rules).
Body Shell:
Must comply with IFMAR regulations, retaining original model shape, windows, and aerodynamic wings. Must be fully painted and decorated; clear shells or simple sticker decoration are prohibited.
Pre- & Post-Race Inspection:
Tires, appearance, and dimensions checked before each race. Post-race inspection is mandatory. Failure or skipping inspection results in disqualification for that round.
Race Procedures & Penalties
Start Procedure:
Controlled practice and qualifying use rolling start. Finals use grid start. Before finals, after warm-up laps, assistants hold cars at the grid. At the referee's countdown from 10 to 3, assistants place cars on track and must not touch them again; start at the timing signal.
Assistants:
Each racer may have 1–2 assistants during the race.
Repairs & Refuelling:
Must be done via the pit lane entrance or by assistants retrieving cars without obstructing others. Cars must be removed from the pit lane for repairs/refuelling; otherwise, a Stop & Go penalty applies.
On-Track Behaviour:
Cars leaving the track must return to the original point before continuing. Lapped cars must yield to leaders. Dangerous driving or intentional collisions may result in verbal warnings or Stop & Go penalties. Repeat offenses can result in disqualification of best result. Cars serving Stop & Go cannot be serviced/refuelled in the pit lane.
